China is a popular destination for both tourism and business purposes. It is a requirement that all visitors from the UK have a Visa in order to enter the country. A different type of Visa is required if you are visiting the country for business reasons than if you are visiting for business purposes. Below is a guide to obtaining a tourism Visa:
Tourism Visa for Visiting China
There is a surprisingly quick turnaround time for the application of a tourist Visa to enter China. Depending on the fee that you are prepared to pay, you can obtain a Visa on the 
same day or go through a process which can take up to a week. There are various different organisations which you can go to in order to obtain your Visa. You should always ensure the credentials of the organisation before handing over any documents.
In order to gain tourist Visa, you can either make an appointment to visit the Chinese Consulate or download and fill in an application form from the website. You must return the form with certain documentation. The exact documents required are outlined in the application pack.
Your tourist Visa will be valid for 3 months, although you will only be permitted to remain in the country for 30 days during this period. If you are leaving at any stage during your visit and intend on returning you must obtain a double-entry Visa.
